Supporting Intersectionality of Collective Advocacy Voice Through Advocacy
Support for Higher Education Faculty.
This grant aims to strengthen advocacy in early childhood education (ECE) by empowering
higher education faculty and students. It focuses on building faculty capacity through targeted
content and strategies to effectively advocate for ECE programs, policies, and practices. Key
efforts include fostering engagement between legislators, faculty, and students to amplify their
voices in shaping policy.
The grant also supports the transition from theory to practice by implementing advocacy
activities at local and state levels, emphasizing diversity, anti-racist practices, and support for
low-income families and children.
